1. Who we are

PricePilot is an independent price-tracking application. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official application of AliExpress. For privacy questions or requests, email imacadilmahfoudi@gmail.com.

2. Information we process

Account and profile information

You may use a guest account or sign in using email or Google. Depending on your choice, we process an internal user identifier, email address, display name, authentication provider identifier, country, currency, language, and account timestamps. Email-account passwords are stored only as secure password hashes, never as readable passwords.

Tracking and shopping information

We process tracked products, favorites, price history, alert thresholds, check frequency, price-check logs, notification records, market preferences, ordinary text search terms, and interactions with affiliate purchase links.

Device and notification information

If you enable alerts, we process an Expo push token, platform, device label, notification preferences, delivery status, and last activity time so we can deliver price notifications and stop sending to invalid or inactive devices.

Image search

When you choose image search, the selected image is transmitted through our service to the AliExpress Dropshipping API to identify similar products. PricePilot does not intentionally store the uploaded image in its database. Search results and local search history may be stored on your device.

Technical information

We store the country code associated with an account or guest session for service administration. Our hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, request identifiers, timestamps, and diagnostic or security logs needed to operate, protect, and troubleshoot the service.

3. Permissions

• Camera: used only when you scan a QR code or take a product photo.
• Photos/media: used when you select an image for visual search.
• Notifications: used to deliver price-drop and tracking alerts you enable.

You can manage permissions in Android settings, although disabling a permission may make the related feature unavailable.

4. How we use information

• Provide product search, price tracking, history, favorites, and account synchronization.
• Schedule price checks and send enabled alerts.
• Personalize currency, market, language, and product recommendations.
• Generate affiliate purchase links and measure link interactions.
• Prevent abuse, enforce rate limits, diagnose failures, and improve reliability.

5. Service providers and sharing

We share only the information needed to provide a requested feature with service providers such as:

• Cloudflare: hosting, database, network security, and operational logs.
• AliExpress: product search, product information, prices, and visual-search processing.
• Google: Google sign-in when you choose it.
• Expo and Firebase Cloud Messaging: push-notification delivery.
• Affiliate networks and destination merchants: purchase-link redirection and attribution.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or during a legitimate business transfer.

6. Affiliate disclosure

Some purchase links are affiliate links. PricePilot may receive a commission from qualifying purchases at no additional cost to you. Affiliate networks and merchants may use cookies or similar technologies after you open their websites or apps.

7. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain security and legal records, and resolve disputes. Tracking data is removed when you stop tracking or delete it, subject to limited backups and operational records. We use encrypted connections, restricted administrative access, hashed passwords, and protected server secrets. No service can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

You can change notification preferences, remove tracked products and favorites, sign out, or revoke device permissions. You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing imacadilmahfoudi@gmail.com from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

9. Children

PricePilot is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum digital-consent age in the user's country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International processing and changes

Information may be processed in countries other than your own where our providers operate. We may update this policy when the service or legal requirements change. The updated date at the top will show the latest revision, and material changes may also be communicated in the app.
